Last Days of a Camera Store is a 2 venue event.
The first venue: Hallmark Visitors Center Theatre, will feature the movie, Camera Store-Rated R (Adult Language) starring John Rhys-Davies, John Larroquette, and Cheryl Ladd. It's about a struggling camera store on the advent of digital photography located in a mall during the early 90s.
After the movie you will head on to 7715 State Line Rd for the exhibit and reception.This is the location of the now closed Crick Camera Shop, which was the oldest camera store in Kansas City. The exhibit will feature portraits of several customers who came in on the final days of the camera store. If you had your portrait made then you will be able to take your portrait home.
